Southington Care Center is a 130-bed facility specializing in the provision of short-term inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. The facility opened in 1990 and provides a state-of-the-art environment and a uniquely trained staff to meet the individual needs of the clientele we serve. In addition to a full spectrum of rehabilitation therapies and quality nursing care, Southington Care Center offers a specialized program for dementia and memory-impaired residents.

Southington Care Center provides long-term health care and rehabilitative services that attend to the emotional, mental, physical, social and spiritual well being of the residents we serve. In addition to outstanding nursing care and a full and varied social calendar, Southington Care Center offers a unique program for residents who are memory impaired or have varying levels of dementia. The Renaissance Program is specially designed to enhance the quality life and level of functioning of all participants.
Inpatient Rehabilitative Services
Our customized rehabilitation programs are designed to meet the individual needs of a diverse population who no longer require hospitalization, however, are in need of short-term rehabilitation in a multi-disciplinary therapeutic environment. Our on-site rehabilitation and nursing team provides services to support the transition from hospital to home in order to assure optimal recovery.
Outpatient Rehabilitative Services
Southington Care Center's dedicated team of professional therapists specialize in adult rehabilitative therapy. Our state of the art 8300 square foot rehab pavilion has been designed to provide a full spectrum of therapy services including aqua therapy in a 18 foot handicapped accessible pool.
